Best dark pretzels made
Extra Dark Low Salt, 7oz
For those who crave the well-done snack, here's your pretzel. The Extra Dark variety has set us apart because of its unique finish: a slow-baked, darkened (sometimes blackened) version of our Specials.
Made in a facility that may contain packaged nuts or nut products.
Best dark pretzels around. Only complaint is wish they were a lil darker.
These are my favorite pretzels of all time. The extra darks are a rare find in NJ supermarkets so when i do find them i stock up. One afternoon i decided to check their website directly and was happily surprised to find extra dark low salt, which is the perfect combo. They were shipped quickly and it’s almost time for me to reorder. Nothing beats the texture, crunch and flavor of uncle Jerry’s. However, i do agree with another poster that they weren’t as dark as the regular dark ones. I like them pretty toasty! But that won’t stop me from reordering. Best pretzels out there!!
I've been eating PA pretzels all of my life and Uncle Jerry's Extra Dark Low Salt is my all time favorite.
ONE of my guilty pleasures.!
A win-win: extra-dark and low salt.
The special darks with low salt are the perfect snack!! We go out of way to buy these delicious treats!!!
The absolute best pretzels I’ve ever had! So much appreciate the fact that I can get dark pretzels that are low in salt! 10 out of 10 Glenn
These pretzels are normally my favorite of all. However I recently ordered 6 bags of Rxtra Dark Low Salt. These are handmade so they are all somewhat different. HOWEVER these pretzels were not baked any longer than the normal lighter pretzels. This changed the flavor entirely. I am waiting for a response from the company.
I usually don’t order food items online but for THESE pretzels I will. They are OMG Amazing! I have tried various types in the past, but nothing compares to UJ pretzels. I prefer the low sodium Extra Dark ones so my taste buds can get more out of the natural flavor without the overwhelming salt taste . The only place I have found them are at my local Organic Market (Moms Market) here in Northern VA. I often shop at Wegmans for most of my grocery items, but will go out of my way to make a Pitt stop at the market just for these. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to buy them at Wegmans, for I know they would sell WELL there. Hope to one day visit the factory when in the area. Thank you for the goodness of these pretzels!
